The life of the konohana family, such as an One Wallet Economy, the pesticide-free farming called the Universal Circulation Method, and the ideal way of being One Big Family that transcends blood ties, is condensed into a 10-minute video.
*The Konohana Family was founded in 1994 by 20 members who had never farmed and had never even heard the word ecovillage, but had the will to create a place where people could live in harmony. Now, what are they like currently?

Savings becomes a way of life for the Amish and creates a sense of financial independence. Knowing that you owe money to no one, and are actually accruing interest on your savings, is something most Amish cherish.
If you earn $1000 a week, save between 20 to 30% of it, which is $200 or $300 for safekeeping. For example, We would allocate 10% into a general savings account, another 10% into our investing account, and a final 10% into a charity account.
